Titanium dioxide is produced in two basic crystalline modifications – as anatase and rutile. Anatase grades have high whiteness and good hiding power. Rutile grades have a more compact crystal lattice, higher refractivity index, what results in higher weather resistance and higher light fastness than in case of anatase. Rutile grades also have higher hiding power and tinting strength and improved dispersibility than anatase grades but they do not reach such a clean and neutral white shade as anatase grades.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATIONS

Titanium dioxide is a universal white pigment which is applied in the paint industry, plastics, industry of paper and rubber, for matting synthetic fibres, in the manufacture of enamels, ceramics, leather industry and in a number of other branches. Paints, paper and plastics represent the main fields of application.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

Protect against weathering. Store in a dry place and avoid extreme fluctuations in temperature .Material is not listed as being harmful or dangerous. There are no specific requirements under national or international regulations for the transportation by road, rail, sea or air.
